Kim released an album titled 'Outside My Square' in August 2004, which features some of Tauranga's finest musicians and UK guitarist POM.
The 11 songs on the album were recorded over seven months at Soundtree and feature Derrin Richards on guitar, Mike Kirk on bass/electric guitar, Nigel Masters from Kokomo on upright bass and keyboards, Ray Ward on drums, Vivienne Genet on piano and cello, Mike Furness on electric guitar, POM on acoustic/nylon guitar. Poms guitar tracks were recorded in London and sent out to New Zealand for Kim to overlay vocals.
Kim wrote all 11 songs and played guitar and lead/back vocals/percussion.
Kim performs regulary in the area alongside Derrin Richards performing songs from the album and new material and also performs on a regular basis with Tim Cooper in the acoustic duo 'Oscar' , also annually at the Montana Jazz festival in Tauranga performing the likes of Eva Cassidy to Tuck and Patti.
Kim is about to embark on a new album project with a whole new sound and approach. It will be recorded at 'eieio recordings' by Tracie and Brian de jong. Kim has had some time out from performing to write and paint and focus on the direction she wants to take and is expected to start a new album in June 2006.
