Catguts and the Big Bang Theory formed in 2002 using only equipment accumulated off the side of the road, under a mutual agreement that has still not come to light.
In live realtime performances on synths, samplers and drum machines, Dave and Aidan croon along with one another in an electronic telephone call to nobody. CG & TBBT are deeply influenced by music from early Sega video games, Fragal rock and Zoolook. Stepping up at last years version festival, and performing at the Mental Illness gigs, CG & TBBT present a visual and aural mosaic of the chaos theory in action.
CG & TBBT are described as "two dudes, synths, samplers, drummachines, keyboards and lots of effects."
