Task One are a high energy band, fusing ska rock and reggae elements into a package that has seen them gain a large following in the Auckland punk/ska scene. Formed in June 2004, Task One have played numerous gigs, using the (now defunct) lifeboat studios as a launching point for their ever growing popularity. They have played with main bands, sharing the bill with such acts as Sommerset, The Bleeders, The WBC, The Rabble, Roofdog, and many more. They also have a 6 track E P available for 5 dollars from the band, or at shows.
