Civilian Down! (Formerly known as Miss Conduct) was formed in late 2003 in the sleepy hollow town of Paraparaumu in the dirty Kapiti Coast. The unique yet "catchy" sound has caught the eyes and ears of Kapiti Coasters.

Civilian Down! is made up of muso's from over Paraparaumu each with their own ideas and backgrounds.

Shaun Dent (Vocals) - Shaun is 22 years old and still lives with his parents in a red neck town called Te Horo, his previous bands such as Virtueva (who won the Regional Heats in the Coke SmokeFree RockQuest in 2000 and got through to the Regional Finals) and Loser Girl. Shaun was also the youngest to graduate at the prestigious Film School. Influences are Zack De La Roach from Rage Against The Machine, Chino Marino from the Deftones, Grinspoon, Incubus and A Perfect Circle.

Shaun loves to eat cold spaghetti off a stick.

Tony "Mongore" Breese (Drummer/Songwriter) - Mongore is 21 years old and has a constant need for Gran's Remedy and has a various musical background. Previous Bands has been Saliva Twist (came second in the Regional Finals of the Coke SmokeFree RockQuest 2002) and recorded an album with them called 'The 24 Fingers of Saliva Twist'. Sideshifter (recorded and EP called 'Rock and/or Roll' and toured in Sydney) Monkey Puzzle (toured around a lot and doing a lot of cover gigs) and of course the Kapiti College Jazz Band. Influences are Primus, The Lost Prophets, CKY, HIM, Soilwork, Frank Zappa, Snot, Emperor, Tool, The Blues Brothers and James Le Fu.

Mongo loves to eat butter wrapped in Bacon.

Tony Wilson (Lead Guitarist/songwriter) - Tony is 22 years old no sense of fashion. His on going collection of Body Glove hoodies and other bad clothes makes the rest of the band cringe. His previous bands such as Hung over and Kazzar gigged around Wellington a lot and got a respected following. He is also an animator and a Web Designer. His influences are Incubus, NOFX, Pennywise, The Ramones, The Clash and BB King.

Tony loves to eat deep fried crackers with guacamole.

Stefan "Chico" Dalley (Guitarist/Songwriter) - Stefan is 21 years old and has a fascination with really bad smelling aftershave. His previous bands such as PGR went through to the National Finals of the Coke SmokeFree RockQuest. They were also 2nd in the McDonalds Young Entertainers, with Stefan playing with a fat lip because he ran into a wall the day before it. Also involved with the Kapiti College Jazz Band. He's the one that (being an electrician) tries to fix the band gear when we "blow it up". His influences are Incubus, The Blues Brothers, Snoop Dogg, Public Enemy and AC/DC.

Stefan loves to eat heated peanut butter off a spoon.

Jamie Wilson - Joe is 20 years old and his fascination with Lego worries everybody in the band, we are in the process of telling him that it is not a way of life. He just came out of nowhere, and joined Civilian Down!, also involved with a few covers bands. His influences include Bob Marley, RHCP, Hippies and dreads.

Jamie loves to eat anything that starts with the letter B and cheese.
