In late 2003 in Christchurch, a band was formed whose mission it was to recharge and power up the hard blues driven rock scene in Christchurch that had seemingly disappeared under a tidal wave of crap neo-grunge-meet-pop-radio-friendly-filth.

The boys of Cropduster are set to charge and resurrect rock music to the mighty pedestal it once had in the heyday. This was an era when men had mullets, and real songs had feeling and a mighty sense of power. How could they not when ripping zeppelinesque vocals combined with pumping bass, thumping drums and loud guitar resulted in a sweet cacophony of balls to the floor carnage.

Cropduster are influenced by Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Doobie Bros, AC/DC, CCR and Hendrix.
