Alternative country style, they've supported The Tokey Tones at the Classic last year, Evan Dando (ex Lemonheads) at the Dogs Bollix, Jay Farrar (ex Uncle Tupelo) and Fur Patrol.
Two songs have been demo'd so far: 'Medication Song' and 'My Love Is Blue'.
The band features Boxcar Benny (who is part of The Radio Kings, Shaft and Bic Runga's band), Kari (ex-drummer for The Brunettes and The Tokey Tones), Marcus (bassist with The Demi Whores) and John (ex-guitarist for Shaft who has also performed with Don McGlashan's band).
The Boxcar Guitars disbanded in late 2005.
