The Cancer Maidens were formed in Palmerston North in 1997 after Andrew Coy returned from Sweden. The band features ex-members from Foisemaster and Shoeshine.
Glenn Fletcher and Coy played together in Feast of Stevens, which became relatively successful, releasing a single and album before disbanding in 1994.
