aight let me put it like this scribe can only make it big in NZ. But out here in the states he aint going to make squat he might get a chance to play at some local bar but thats about it....see scribe is only one rapper that made it big out there but thats it..out hurr in america you got a grip lode of rappers that are raw..we got rappers from the WEST,MED WEST,EAST SIDE,SOUTH SIDE NORTH SIDE....and all the underground rappers out there....scribe is just a little girl if he was to match up with the rappers out here....i aint hating on him but he just wont be big out hurr sorry to bust yo bubble but its the truth......besides NZ rap is fake anywas...yall talk about stuff that yall aint been through or did.....in the states everything you hear is what really happend....so dont act like scribe the next big thing cuzz he aint....SORRY  |

see son you just don't understand do you....P-money don't sell anything to the USA maybe to y'all he might be selling beats.....P-money ain't nothing i ain't even heard of him.....only in this site i seen his sorry beats on.....why should anyone from the USA use his beats you forgot that we have a lot of beat makers out hurr..besides P-money beats is a copy of other beat makers from here....so come correct with your facts son.......P-money is telling y'all false statement's.....and as for scribes back up rappers com'on now son they would get a life learned lesson stepping up to the rappers from hurr....SORRY TO TELL Y'ALL THE TRUTH....but hey its ok cuzz at least y'all have your own unique way of rapping...keep it up

If voodoo is from the US then I'm from Bulgaria. This guy is full of it! For someone from the States he's got a pretty good knowledge of NZ hiphop artists he doesn't like  . Sacctown indeed! More like "sack" town because that's all this guy's proving himself to be!

ONCE AGAIN, some serious jealously. Who cares if Scribe doesn't not make it in the US, he has already out sold most NZ sales records and continues to do so, Savage is too.

I generally prefer NZ hip-hop over the US stuff (but I do like some Gangsta Rap in small doses, Dre, Snoop etc).
The whole G's up Ho's down crap is a laugh and I can't believe it gets taken seriously but whatever, people think the same about the metal I listen to 
I don't see guys like Scribe and the like getting too huge overseas, they have a niche market here in Australasia.
"How many dudes you know roll like this?".... Uh, none - WTF is "rolling" anyway? driving up and down a main street looking tough?.... ugh, just a scene I cannot identify with sorry.
HOWEVER... Stuff like Che-Fu and King Kapisi is more my style though, just real feel-good stuff. it helps they actually sing as well as rap. |

I'd say this is partially true, in that it's a primitive activity akin to a dog pissing on a lamp-post.
However I doubt a caveman painting a deer and his handprints as part of an ancient ritual in a cave has much to do with tagging "EASTIIIIIIIDE" on a bus stop |

I have to totally disagree. I think NZ rap is original and far beyond much that is released from other countries. This is especially true with some of the beats and loops from Big Things, which is choice! Maybe take a listen to: The Xpedition Featuring 4 Corners… Wicked!
NZ Rap seams to be more poetical with less hate and deserves props. I don’t think voodoo has ever really listened to Scribe because if he had he wouldn’t have made such a stupid post.
There’s no accounting for the taste of Americans anyways.
NZ is the best.
