Having called themselves LoungeHead for a year after they formed in early 1995, The New Loungehead changed to their updated moniker in early 1996 following a lineup change, and also to reflect a growing interest in dub and trip-hop beats.
Godfrey de Grut is a solo performer and Dan Sperber also performs with the Relaxomatic Project.
