Temples on Mars - Agent Interview Two

25 Oct 2004 // An interview by bonnie
New Plymouth based band AGENT took time out on a Friday evening to have a interview for music.net.nz…

A mate and I went to there jam room to ask a few questions about AGENT and here they are!

1. Who are your influences?

Red Hot Chilly Peppers, System Of A Down, Metallica, Rage Against the Machine, Pink Floyd, Radio head, there’s heaps like we would never listen to the some things. Like some times we would listen to something only once, Zane quoted " not rap"

2. Who did the art work for The Pheng Nom Shakedown EP?

There two of them in one I (James) took a photo of Zane with a gas mask on and played around with it, and on the other one we Red and I did the art work on it.

3. What do you think you would be doing if AGENT was not formed?

I (red) would be running around with at hat on saying pig
I (James) would be doing some crazy things like jackass or would be in another band.
I would be a Fireman (Zane)

4. What was the most embarrassing thing that happened on your most recent tour?

My (James) car broke down on the way to Hamilton but lucky the other band with us helped out.

5. Which member of the band has the worst habit, and what is it?

It would have to be red he pulls big pieces of snot from his nose and they are not the normal green color they are brown and black some times.

6. How was AGENT formed?

Is all started out as from a band in the rockquest called ‘agent orange’ then James was in a band called the agent then Zane joined in then later on they changed to agent and then Red followed through and joined in with then and formed AGENT.

7. If you were confined to just one room and only allowed to take one CD what would it be?

It would be TOOL

8. What was the strangest thing a fan has ever done to you?

It would have to be this guy that was pissed came up to me (James) and wanted to start a fight so I invited him up on to the stage to have a fight and he didn’t come up so we dedicated a song to him,
and this other time this guy was saying to us that he was a wicked guitarist and he wanted to have a go on our gear while we were playing.

Krystal and Bonnie would like to thank agent for this interview
