The Black Seeds have announced a series of homecoming shows in the lower North Island to kick off the summer in style for their kiwi fans.

The Wellington club show on 15 November will be the first in their home city since their sell-out Dust and Dirt tour in 2012, and for the first time ever the band are playing Masterton, a show which is especially exciting for band member Mike Fab who’s home is the Wairarapa. “We're all excited about this run of shows. It's a good chance to be able to stretch out and have some fun with the music in some cool and intimate venues”.

The Black Seeds are known for filling dance floors around the world and bathing audiences in their raw energy and good vibes.

The past 18 months have been especially successful for the Wellington 7–piece, with the release of their album Dust and Dirt - certified gold, and a tour which saw them performing 80 shows across three continents, leading Rolling Stone to describe them as “The best reggae band in the world right now”.

Fans are in for an extra special treat at these three gigs with members of band peforming DJ sets before each show.
